Talty Literary Solutions, Inc. is a Maine corporation and the operator of this website. Talty Literary is a literary-education program operated by Talty Literary Solutions, Inc.; it is not a separate company.
Website hosting and request data
This website is hosted through HostM. Public DNS points to HostM infrastructure in an IP block registered to OVH Hosting, Inc. An ordinary website request can disclose the visitor's IP address, browser and device information, requested page, timestamp, referrer, and related security or server-log data.
The exact country of the primary server and remote backups, and the retention periods for server logs and backups, have not been verified. This policy does not describe the server as located in a particular city.
Contact form and email
The project-inquiry form asks for a name, email address, subject, and message. Name, email, and subject are required; the message is optional. It does not accept a file upload or payment. Do not send passwords, private legal documents, health information, student records, manuscripts, or other sensitive files through the general form.
When submitted, Contact Form 7 passes the inquiry through WordPress's mail function to a Talty Literary Solutions domain mailbox. The reviewed configuration does not store submissions in the WordPress database, Flamingo is not installed, and the secondary Mail (2) message is disabled. The inquiry may remain in the receiving mailbox, mail and security logs, and provider backups. The downstream mail provider and retention periods remain unverified.
Akismet is installed and active as a WordPress plugin, and the form contains Contact Form 7 Akismet-related fields, but Akismet is not configured with an API key. The inspected configuration therefore does not use Automattic/Akismet to screen submissions. If Akismet or another external spam-screening service is configured later, this notice must be updated before use.
Website services
The reviewed release uses system or locally available fonts and does not intentionally load Google Fonts, remote WordPress emoji images, embedded video, advertising trackers, or common analytics scripts.
The inspected inquiry path is not connected to an email-marketing service, CAPTCHA provider, payment processor, or active automation workflow. Optimole is installed but not connected. These observations describe the inspected configuration and must be reviewed again before any integration is enabled.
Representative public GET responses reviewed on August 23, 2026 did not set a cookie. These observations describe the reviewed runtime, not a permanent guarantee. A material service change requires a new review and an updated notice.
Use, retention, and sharing
Inquiry information is used to read and respond to the message, determine whether there is a relevant next step, and preserve ordinary business records. A contact-form submission does not authorize access to a private system or create a client engagement.
Exact mailbox, mail-log, security-log, and backup retention periods have not been verified, and no fixed duration is promised here.
Talty Literary Solutions, Inc. does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. This does not mean that no provider processes information: website, form, and email providers may receive information only for the operational purposes described in this policy.
A future project may require different providers, accounts, data, and retention rules. Those must be identified in the applicable written engagement before sensitive or client-controlled data is transferred.
