Native-led technology for organizations that need real capability without getting gouged for it.
Who We Are
Talty Literary Solutions was founded by Morgan Talty, an enrolled citizen of the Penobscot Indian Nation, award-winning author, and Assistant Professor at the University of Maine.
We build technology for organizations that have been priced out of serious tools — tribal governments, small publishers, educational institutions, nonprofits doing critical work with limited budgets.
What We Believe
Your data, your control. We build toward systems where you own your information. Local-first where possible. Cloud only when necessary and always disclosed.
Accessibility by default. Every site meets WCAG standards. Screen readers, keyboard navigation, inclusive design — built in, not bolted on.
Worker protection. We don’t build systems to replace workers or cut wages. Our automation frees people for higher-value work.
On AI
Yes, we use AI. We use it to build infrastructure, design systems, and accelerate development. We’re honest about that.
Where a project allows it, we keep processing local — air-gapped when the work demands it. Some tools require cloud APIs, and when they do, we’re upfront about what’s going where. No surprises.
Part of The Talty Group
Talty Literary Solutions is the technology arm of The Talty Group. Our sister organization, Talty Literary, offers workshops, mentorship, and courses for writers.
